This is now twice a year on 14th December and 14t June. The Foundation supports the walk and provides the local organisers with equipment they need to keep the walk safe. They also maintain the ‘Wall of Truth’ area, a central place of gathering for the community since the fire. Their long term plan is to plant 72 trees on Westway land and their project both upskills and gives therapeutic benefit to the community. This was held shortly after the 2 year anniversary at the Truman brewery in East London to ensure communities outside of North Kensington could remember what happened. A number of talks were held throughout it’s run to shine a light on the wider Grenfell issues and engage new audiences in the fight for Justice.
